Sunmesa Events is very proud to have Aaron Forsythe lead designer of Magic 2011 at the Los Angeles Regional Prerelease as our guest.

According to Wikipedia Aaron started playing Magic: The Gathering in 1994. His first cards were from Revised and were a gift from his mother.

Aaron was the visionary force behind Magic 2010 and Magic 2011. His desire to create core sets with their own identities has helped fuel Magic’s recent supercharged success.

His design & development credits go well beyond core sets. Some of Magic’s best loved sets show his touch. Below are partial lists of his credits.

As a player Aaron was a steady force on the Pro Tour between 1997 & 2001, placing in two Pro Tours Top 8’s.

At Brussels in 2000 along with Jon Finkle, Chris Benafel & Frank Hernadez, Aaron won the World Team Championship.

Aaron also had a brief stint as a Starcity writer and often contributes to magicthergathering.com now.
